藤前干潟のジオラマ
Fujimae Tidal Flat was formed at the mouths of three rivers: the Shonai River, the Shin River, and the Nikko River. If you come at high tide, you can’t see it because it is covered in water, but if you come at low tide when the moon is new or full, you can see large and small tidal flats. Migratory shorebirds such as dunlins, whimbrels, and grey plovers feed at the tidal flat whenever it comes out, even in the middle of the night.
庄内川、新川、日光川の3つの川の河口には藤前干潟が形成されました。満潮時に訪れると、水に覆われて干潟は見えませんが、月が新月や満月のとき干潮時に訪れれば、大小さまざまな干潟を見ることができます。干潟が現れるたびに、真夜中であってもハマシギ、チュウシャクシギ、ダイゼンなどの渡り鳥たちが餌を求めて集まってきます。
